Our Donors
Over 140 donors have contributed more than 1,400 photographs over the last 30 years to develop one of Australia’s preeminent collections of Australian Photography which now numbers over 3,100 works.
Since MGA's inception donors, collectors and artists have been at the centre of MGA's unique collection, the only public collection solely dedicated to Australian photography.
Our supporters have been a critical part in the collection’s development and success with 50% of the works being donated by collectors, supporters and artists.
We thank our donors, collectors and artists – you are all at the heart of what we do and without your support the collection would (literally) be half of what it is today. Just imagine what the next 30 years have in store.
